About This Course
Water is our most important resource. We use it daily and throughout our lives. But when the water is used, wastewater is created. And this wastewater is treated so we can reuse it. But are we doing ok? Aren't we missing opportunities here? In recovering valuable resources from the wastewater we create? This course will learn you which valuable resources can be present in the wastewater and what technological options are available to recover these resources.
In this course, you will learn about

- Metal recovery
- Organics recovery
All topics are illustrated with specific cases. Technologies used for these cases are discussed.
Requirements
This course requires you to understand and know the principles for wastewater treatment. Morever, it will be given at a master level, thus requiring understanding of basic engineering and technology skills
